Terms and Conditions

  • Delivery: All accessories (leather handles, inners, borders, pockets, front flaps for clutch bags, mini GO bags, card holders, cable wraps and charger and cord wraps) for Original Magpie (PTY) Ltd are locally handcrafted. If an accessory is out of stock we have a lead time of 2 -3 weeks before delivery. We will, however, notify you if this is the case. Deliveries are R100 per order  in South Africa. Parcels are delivered on weekdays between 08h00 and 17h00. Deliveries to main centres take 1 to 3 business days.   Outliner areas may take up to 6 business days. We make use of a courier company to deliver our products which requires a signature on delivery, therefore we do not deliver to P.O Boxes.
  • Tracking: You will receive a tracking number once your order has been despatched.
  • Payment: Your order will only be dispatched once the full payment reflects in our bank account.
  • Exchanges and refunds: You must notify us via email (orders@originalmagpie.co.za) within three (3) days of delivery should you not be satisfied or if you have any queries.
  • Leather care: All our leather accessories are quality handmade/handstitched leather items made according to traditional methods with passion and pride.
  • Caring for your Tote bag: Original Magpie bags are a fashion accessory designed to carry small lightweight items. The maximum recommended load of the the bag is 2kg. do not over load your bag with heavy objects. The bag is not suitable for carrying hot or sharp objects or chemicals. Avoid extreme heat, mechanical damage, or abrasion when using the bag. The bag can be cleaned by washing it with lukewarm water with a damp cloth and then wiping it until it is dry. Do not dry the bag in the microwave or near a heat source. Avoid open fires and direct and indirect sunlight.
  • Payment method: ORIGINAL MAGPIE (PTY) LTD uses PayFast which is a payment processing service for South Africans. It accepts credit card payments as well as EFT.
